Question 4: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Countries are becoming increasingly similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world. Use reasons and examples to support your answer.

To be honest, I don't occasionally traveled out of my country. Only 3 countries that i have visited beside my own (Indonesia), those are Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
On my perspective and experience, I disagreed with the statement. I saw really different kind of thing when I was in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Perhaps Malaysia is the closest similar to my Country Indonesia, but not for the goods or products, but for the culture, moreover our language are similar.
Firstly, even if world trade is becoming so open right now, still the goods and product will follow of particular country culture. For example, in Saudi Arabia, there are a lot of Big Car and fancy car.. Because over there there is no thing such as traffic jam, differently with my country, when traffic jam is everywhere, so city-car (small car) is the best option if you don't want to use scooter-bike.
Secondly, it depends on the government. How they protect their own products, or open form outside products (import). For example, for clothes. In my country, so many small-businesses making clothes for money, so variant of clothes are so rich here.. In Singapore, the products are so common and monotone i think, because they only depends their clothes needs by buying form outside their country.
So, once again, I disagree with the statement, and this was my perspective, totally it could be wrong.
